Ban TextTalk?

I hate it. It makes no sense. I use it but like 3 of them. IDK and cuz and sometimes IDC. I don't over board it. My said friend Janine sent me a text for homework and it:

Qumbie cud u tel me wat 2nites hw is? i fogot mine an izzy is nt pking ^ her fone.


Translation (It was so hard I had to ask 5 people in my house): Qumbie could you tell me what tonights homework is? I forgot mine and Izzy is not picking up her phone.

Its pretty annoying. Theres 3 teens in my home and 1 of them uses it. (Not Robeta or me)

Lets ban it.

I don't think they should ban text talk.
Yes, it can be hard to understand and can get quite annoying but, I don't think it should be banned.
Although, probably some of the people here actually use text talk, as in "U, R, IDK, IDC, Y, etc.
Maybe just make your friend talk a little better just by asking?
Sometimes, people use text talk because their probably lazy to write the actual word?

It depends actually. I mean, we can use a little text talk like IKR, IDC, IDK, CUZ...etc. I think that going overboard should be banned.

I do use text talk but I don't go over board,I have family member who do that =_=

I don't think banning is necessary. Sure, it's annoying as poop, but what can you do?
Just because it's annoying to some people or the majority of the people, it doesn't mean it's annoying to all. For an example, names with all these symbols annoy me. Glitter graphics annoy me. Long signatures annoy me. But, what can you do? Some people like it.

If it bothers you so much that you can't read or understand what they are saying, either a) tell them directly and politely that you simple can't understand or b) don't reply.
